Alpha moves to a bigger venue

The opening night of Alpha is probably the most exciting part of my job: it’s 7pm, we’ve set up a team of fantastic leaders and helpers, the church looks stunning with lighting and music (and warm!) and the food is cooked – now, who will come through the doors, to discuss “Is there more to life than this?”

In the event, there were over 80 involved in 10 groups, and we’re looking forward to welcoming more for week 2 on Wednesday (when the course starts proper). So glad we decided to take a punt on moving out of the hall into the church itself this term to accommodate greater numbers wanting to do the course.
