Growing Spiritual Warriors

My 5 year old son was so pleased when he came out of his kids’ group this week.

“Look”, he said “a magic picture”, and he showed us his picture of, according to him, a magic bush which changed into a sheep. We chatted through the picture, and talked about the man with binoculars that was also in it, and decided it was actually Jesus, searching for the lost sheep, which he found behind a bush. The week before he had come from his group brandishing a medal he had made; “as we are all special to God”. As Archie said, we are growing spiritual warriors, sometimes just one little bit at a time. Sometimes they need a little help to see the picture more clearly, but they’re definitely growing…
