Last Friday was the first Sound It Out event held at St. Peter's. Our youth had great vision for a gig night for the teenagers of Brighton, and it was so exciting to see this vision just begin to unfold.
Youth bands from around the area joined some local professionals in playing to over 70 young people in Brighton, some of which had never in their lives even set foot into a church. We were all so encouraged by the buzz and excitement that surrounded the gig night. It was clear that the event run by our young people will fulfil a need for the community.
