Equip

Equip is an opportunity each term to look in greater depth at some key themes of theology and how they apply to our everyday lives.

So next up is…
Equip Summer Term 2012 // Saturday 26 May // 9.30am-12.30pm // The Church
We will be looking at the ‘Trinity’ (who is God?) and 'Mission’ (what are we supposed to be doing?), so questions like...
Trinity // How can God be 3 and 1 at the same time? Is God like an egg, a clover, or a cricket ball? Should we be aiming to promote unity or encourage diversity? Should we support Scottish independence? How do we find success?
Mission // What are we trying to do? Save souls? Get people into heaven? Extend the Kingdom of God? Grow the Church? Look after the poor? Care for the natural world? What should be our priority?
We will have coffee and pastries from 9.30am, and kick off properly at 9.45am. It will cost £2.50 (£1.50 for students) to cover handouts and pastries.
